Douglass Says Health-Care Summit Reveals `Common Ground’: Video
Feb. 25 (Bloomberg) — Linda Douglass, a White House spokeswoman for health care, talks with Bloombergs Mark Crumpton and Lori Rothman about the prospects for President Barack Obama’s bipartisan summit in Washington on the stalled health-care legislation. Obama urged lawmakers from both parties to use the meeting to find ways to overhaul the health-care system, saying Congress cant afford to ignore one of the biggest drags on the US economy.
