No More Nukes?

When President Barack Obama’s efforts at arms control last month included a new arms reductions treaty with Russia and a Nuclear Security Summit of world leaders in Washington, DC, I noticed only Jon Stewart on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” compared this meeting to the original meeting of the United Nations more than 60 years ago which, ironically, began with a call for the elimination of atomic weapons, all of which reminded me of the senior essay I wrote to get my undergraduate history degree on the failed attempt at international control of atomic weapons at the end of World War II, as I explain in this video. The clip I use of Jon Stewart on “The Daily Show” comes from the April 14, 2010, segment titled “A Farewell to Arms” available using the Comedy Central video player page at www.thedailyshow.com The image I show of my own 1990 senior essay titled “LOST OPPORTUNITIES: An Examination of the Attempt at International Control of Atomic Weapons at the End of World War II” comes from my own webpage at liberalviewer.com The public domain image I use of Josef Stalin and Harry Truman comes from the wikimedia commons page at commons.wikimedia.org The public domain image I use of Bernard Baruch comes from the wikimedia commons page at commons.wikimedia.org The public domain image I use of Henry Stimson comes from the wikimedia commons page at commons.wikimedia.org The image I use of my own December 25, 2008, YouTube video titled “Hiroshima: Right or Wrong?” comes from the

Michael Moore on Countdown With Keith Olbermann (Guest Host Lawrence O’Donnell) – Part 2

“Here’s how president Obama can fix this, and everybody watching this should write to their member of congress or Senator and to President Obama and say, ‘look, you do have the authority to write the regulations, to actually write how this health care bill is enforced,’ and he can do — and believe me, if you remember, George W. Bush did this quite often — he can write and do executive orders to issue some of the regulations that need to put some real teeth into the health care bill so that the WellPointes and these other insurance companies aren’t able to punish you because you come down with breast cancer.” — Michael Moore on Countdown with Keith Olbermann, Thursday, April 22nd, 2010 “Who’s gonna want to go to the doctor’s office when it’s full of chickens? I mean, I don’t know if you’ve ever cleaned out a chicken coop but, man, that’s the last thing you want is a lot of chickens around. This, actually, Larry, proves something very fundamental about our two parties. Say what you want about the Democrats — they’re a bunch of wimps, they don’t have the courage of their convictions, yes they can be bought by big corporations and lobbyists, too, just like the Republicans — but the one thing that they’re not — the Democrats — the one thing that they’re not is completely crazy. Ideas like this just make you want to go, ‘what has happened?’ I used to know really nice, smart, good Republicans. What has happened? This is so ultimately bizarre and I just hope they keep

The video Barack Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi do not want you to see!!!!

The video Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi dont want you to see!!!! Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Alex Jones, Sean Hannity, Glen Beck, Bill O’Reilly, CNN, Fox News, CNBC, Jon Stewart, Bill Maher, Larry King Live, Geraldo Rivera, and the rest of the media, they don’t want you to see this video. The politicians and media members want to control your thinking. It’s time to bring back independent thinking, and common sense practical solutions to our problems in the United States of America. In England they did the exact same thing. The British citizens complain about their crappy health care, they complain about the government pulling the plug on life support with their family members to “save money”. Oh yeah, they also complain about the 20% sales tax England put on them to pay for the bill. That’s Obama’s biggest task on his check list is to raise the sales tax eventually and selling to us that he has no choice to do it because of the “national debt”. Even though he’s contributed to more debt than any other President in US history. He will wait to put that tax on us until after he’s re-elected, which should not happen. tags: Barack Obama vs Nancy Pelosi Harry Reid Alex Jones Sean Hannity Glen Beck Bill O’Reilly CNN Fox News CNBC Jon Stewart Bill Maher Larry King Live Geraldo Rivera Hilary Clinton Bill Clinton Ronald Regan JFK John F Kennedy speech contradictions lies

In Spirit of Bipartisanship – Obama blitz on Health Care Summit.

Gallup Poll: Obama job approval 50% – 42% gallup.com Donate to the earthquake victims of Chile and Haiti by visiting the Red Cross. redcross.org Visit my blog http or follow me on Twitter at twitter.com Thanks for viewing. Ok, in the spirit of bipartisanship, my honest take on the health care summit. Still no matter how hard the president tries, he’s not getting the support from Republicans. Democrats spent over a year trying to promote health care reform. The Republicans claim that health care reform will “bankrupt” the country. The Republicans channeled into the anger of the Tea Party Movement. It’s a conservative grassroots organization, Tea Party Movement will seek political candidates who are deemed more conservative than a mainstream Republican. There’s a brewing in the progressive movement, it’s called The Coffee Party. More on that in later videos. Democrats are looking towards reconciliation to pass health care reform. As I present these videos, I’ve notice that a lot of our viewers that are seriously uninformed about who represents their state. I ask a few critics who are their representatives? I ask a few critics who are the senators? No answers. So therefore, I will no longer address those who can’t address these simple questions. I am all for the freedom of speech, but how low can they go to upset others?
